Sarah Moser

Sarah Moser is a versatile cellist from Salzburg, recognized for her performances across a broad range of musical styles.
She has given solo concerts at prestigious venues such as the Brucknerhaus Linz, Salzburger Festspielhaus, Cuvilliès-Theater in Munich, the großer Saal Mozarteum and the Salzburger Felsenreitschule.
In addition to her solo appearances, Sarah frequently performs in smaller chamber music ensembles throughout Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary. As a member of the MoserTrio, Sarah combines classical music with jazz, creating innovative and captivating programs. Together, they perform regularly at international music festivals, showcasing
their unique blend of genres.

Sarah’s musical education includes studies in Salzburg, Lübeck, and Munich with esteemed teachers such as Barbara Lübke-Herzl, Prof. Wen-Sinn Yang, Troels Svane and Julian Steckel. She has also received baroque cello lessons from Kristin von der Goltz.
Throughout her career, Sarah has earned several awards and is a scholarship holder of Live Music Now München. 2025 she won the 1.prize of the "music matters" competition in Munich.

From 2022 to 2024, she was an academist at the Bayerische Staatsoper (Bavarian State Opera) in Munich, gaining experience in one of Europe’s most renowned opera house.
